The film ends in the room that Claire (Sara Paxton) had been sleeping in. The camera pans to the window and sits for several seconds before the door slams and the credits roll. If the viewer looks closely enough at the curtains, the faintest image of Claire can be seen turning to look at the door just before it slams shut. The image is so subtle that viewers still find it difficult to find.
