Former Crescere che fatica (1993) actor Lee Norris said that he talked with the producer Michael Jacobs multiple times. He felt that it was a marvelous experience to be a part of something that affected many lives. Former cast members Ethan Suplee, Blake Soper, and Jason Marsden all approved the new series in separate interviews.
