The opening credits of the Criminal Intent series contain a still photograph of ADA Ron Carver (Courtney B. Vance) in court holding up a serrated kitchen knife in one hand and a boning knife in the other. That shot was taken from Criminal Intent: The Good Doctor (2001) during the trial of Dr. Peter Kelmer (Robert Knepper).
