The scene in the film between Andre and Helene in the garden had to be re-dubbed because the birds in it were singing too loud. In the audio commentary from the DVD release of the film, David Hedison admitted that, as an actor, he hated dubbing and put little effort into it, noting that he sounds flat in the scene. He had rushed through it just so he could get to a flight on time.
