It was decided that no romance was going to be added or used in the first Mortal Kombat (1995) film. BUT, if you pay close attention in this second MK film; during the travel sphere scene when Liu Kang, Robin Shou & Kitana, Talisa Soto must use they're bodies to maneuver the sphere while holding on to it. At one point during the scene, Talisa Soto tells Robin Shou to hold on to her, which he does; and you can see a faint smile on Kitana's face. Giving the impression that she is attracted to Liu Kang.
