In a nod to the 1987 animated series the Turtles initials are on their belts again. But this time they are not on uniform buckles but rather formed by various attachments to the belts. Leonardo's "L" is formed by straps he uses to tie his sword sheaths to his belt. Donatello's "D" is formed by a standard belt buckle, while Raphael's "r" (which is the only initial in lowercase) is formed by a loop strap on his belt. Finally Michelangelo's "M" is the most prominent, formed by straps of leather wrapped around his belt.
