Second and final [to date, June 2014] cinema movie featuring the "Scobie Malone" Australian detective character. The first appearance of him in a feature film, based on the first Jon Cleary Scobie Malone novel "The High Commissioner" (1966), had been portrayed by Rod Taylor in Arrest! (1968) around seven years earlier.
