The radio playing in the gang's Platte City hideout suggests it was a Sunday just before 9 pm. The Chase and Sanborn Hour (advertising Chase and Sanborn coffee, which Buck Barrow asks for from a grocer earlier in the film) was wildly popular, playing on NBC Sundays from 8 pm to 9 pm. It always ended with its star, Eddie Cantor, singing his trademark song, "One Hour With You," which is what is heard. The song is also an appropriate theme for the characters.
