Director Chad Stahelski and his stunt team wanted to incorporate more large group fight scenes in this film, purposely deviating from the one-on-one fights of the previous films. Because John Wick is now a marked man, he has the potential to face more enemies with varying styles of martial arts, such as Kung fu, Wushu, and Indonesian Silat.
