Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970)'s Ted Knight (Ted Baxter) makes an appearance in this movie as one of the guards at the ending who open's the door to Norman's cell; so they can bring him a blanket. Knight had a supporting role in Hitchcock's Alfred Hitchcock presenta: Party Line (1960), an episode from his popular TV series Alfred Hitchcock presenta (1955).
