Actress Nimmi visited the film sets at Central Studios with her grandmother to meet Mehboob Khan.But much before Mehboob Khan she was spotted by Raj Kumar who was shooting Andaz with Mehboob Khan.Raj Kapoor then signed her for his film Barsaat 1949.
