Although 28 years apart, Malcolm McDowell and Nicole Kidman both were cast and played lead roles in a Stanley Kubrick film. McDowell had the role of a lifetime playing Alex Delarge in Arancia meccanica (1971). Kidman played Alice Harford in Eyes Wide Shut (1999). Although most of Kubrick's films are controversial, these are, perhaps, the two most polemic.
