In every color episode, the beautiful color green was featured prominently, in miscellaneous shades, simply because it was long associated with witches. Far from being relinquished to the decor as in most '70s shows to come, it was also the most prolific color used for wardrobe. Samantha was decked out in green more often than any other color. When Darrin wasn't wearing a green suit, shirt or cardigan, it was Larry Tate who sported a bottle green tie and matching pocket kerchief or vest. So far as decor, besides the typical era wall-to-wall avocado carpet, the Stephens paint on the bedroom walls was cheery green and their kitchen's was neutral green; Darrin's study featured many green props such as jade color vases, Kelly green lamps, an emerald green leather armchair and other curios. The witches' color green truly was everywhere in this sitcom, although a few episodes without so much green also do exist. (At some point, the kitchen was dominant brown.)
