Many of the iconic scenes in the movie aren't in the book:-"Here's Johnny!"-Dick being killed.-Jack using an axe (in the book he uses a roque mallet).-The maze.-"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".-The kissing scene between Jack and the dead naked woman.-The two sisters (Grady's daughters) talking to Danny.-The bloody deluge spilling out from the elevator.-Danny riding his tricycle.-Jack freezing to death.-The hotel still standing at the end in the film.
