During its second season Mae Whitman had reached out to country singer and actor Trace Adkins on Twitter about appearing on the series as a guest. However, this did not come to fruition, and Whitman these days feels embarrassed by even doing so in the first place as she is no longer a fan of theirs due to them coming out as a Republican.
