The shot of Buzz climbing up the display only to encounter the new Buzz Lightyear with the Utility Belt at Al's Toy Barn standing tall is a direct resemblance to the one of Woody climbing up Andy's bed to encounter the original Buzz standing tall in the first Toy Story - Il mondo dei giocattoli (1995).
