The original series finale was the fourth season episode Dinosauri: Changing Nature (1994). Seven more episodes that were not broadcast during the series' initial run were later added in syndication. Since the finale showed the dinosaurs making their world uninhabitable and causing the end of their species, these new episodes, while released afterwards, chronologically take place before 'Changing Nature'
