The first post-Cartoon Cartoon original series to be produced by Cartoon Network Studios after the original Cartoon Cartoons such as Il laboratorio di Dexter (1996), Johnny Bravo (1997) and Le superchicche (1998) were canceled. Later seasons such Le tenebrose avventure di Billy & Mandy (2001), Nome in codice: Kommando Nuovi Diavoli (2002), and Ed, Edd & Eddy (1999) were meant to finish these episodes until January 2008, where the finale movie Nome in codice: Kommando Nuovi Diavoli: Operation I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. (2007) aired its place. (However, the very last Cartoon Cartoon project was Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show (2009), released in November 2009 as the last official Cartoon Cartoon series ever to be made.) Le superchicche (1998) was originally meant to end with the first six seasons in 2004 and The Powerpuff Girls Rule!!! (2008) special in 2009, but it was revived in 2016 called The Powerpuff Girls (2016) reboot which weren't well received. Meanwhile, the endings of Camp Lazlo (2005), Class of 3000 (2006), Quella scimmia del mio amico (2005), and Jimmy fuori di testa (2007) were canceled due to the premieres of Chowder - Scuola di cucina (2007) and Le meravigliose disavventure di Flapjack (2008) were both well received and the launch of Cartoon Network's live action shows (as known as CN Real) was tanked due to Cartoon Network for canceling their original cartoons and Cartoon Network started importing Canadian shows such as Total Drama Island (2007) and Johnny Test (2005) after no original cartoons premiered until Adventure Time (2010) and Regular Show (2009) became the start of the modern CN era in the 2010s. (One episode finale: Gli Amici Immaginari di casa Foster: Goodbye to Bloo (2009) was aired in May 2009 after the endings of the movie Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends: Destination Imagination (2008), was canceled in 2008 perceptively.)
