Natasha Henstridge was considered for the role of Jill Valentine as seen in early drafts of Resident Evil (2002), as well as in Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004). Supplemental material for Biohazard 2 (1998) credit "Species" was one of the inspirations for this game franchise, which features male victims of monster "inbreeding" and female characters who mutate into grotesque, but sexually attractive creatures.
