The first season was filmed in office space located just above a soundstage at the Chandler Valley Center Studios. The soundstage was often used to replicate the Dunder Mifflin warehouse, most notably in season one, episode five, "Basketball". For the second season, an exact replica of the original office was built on a soundstage right next to the warehouse set in the same building.
