The school psychologist is named Dr. Farrow, which may be a call out to Mia Farrow who starred in Rosemary's Baby, another film about a woman who is seduced into bearing the antichrist for a satanic cult (and whose story closely parallels what Samantha tells Gary in this film about Lucas' conception).
