Thomas Dekker is the 4th actor to play John Connor, succeeding Edward Furlong, Michael Edwards and Nick Stahl. Christian Bale assumed the role in Terminator Salvation (2009) and Jason Clarke assumed the role in Terminator Genisys (2015).
