Earned another $173.6 million overseas during its second weekend, including a $111.865 million Friday to Sunday launch in China. That brings its global total to $370 million worldwide, and Monday is a holiday in China. The China debut was the eighth-largest ever in what is now the biggest moviegoing marketplace in the world. It was the fourth-biggest launch in China for an import, and Universal Pictures' second-largest launch (behind Fast & Furious 8 (2017)). And the entire five-movie Jurassic Park/Jurassic World franchise has now earned over $4 billion worldwide, sans inflation or overseas expansion. Even if it ends up frontloaded in China, fans will still be looking at an over or under $220 million figure. Even if it plunges hard in North America and "only" earns $225 million (like The Fate of the Furious (2017)), it will still (presuming a $200 million plus haul in China) have earned around $700 million plus worldwide, plus whatever it makes in the rest of the world. If it pulls a $130 million opening and a $325 million finish (about what we all expected from Jurassic World (2015)) domestically along with a Chinese total closer to $250 million, that's $833 million worldwide, plus whatever else it has in the can overseas.
