It was during the run of ""Brotherhood of Poland NH" that Randy Quaid was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the dedication ceremony taking place October 7 2003 - the day before the series' third episode aired - and being attended by Quaid and co-stars Ann Cusack, Elizabeth McGovern, and Mare Winningham, The timing of the honor might be deemed ironic as "Brotherhood..." would exactly two weeks later - the day after the fifth episode aired - be "put on hiatus", the four leftover episodes in fact never to air.
