Furiosa calls Max "fool" when he doesn't tell her his name. This is a reference to 'The Fool's Journey', the story structure of this film. In this structure Max plays the role of "The Fool" co-writer Nico Lauthoris said that he used the Tree of Life of the Kabbalah and the Major Arcana in Tarot as a map for the story. it turns out that the 22 cards of the Major Arcana in Tarot form a story structure called 'The Fool's Journey'. When Furiosa refers to Max as "fool" this is a nod to the fact that Max represents the fool card in this story.
