The two daughters Lynda and Margaret Mansell in the 1945 flashback scenes and in the present day scenes were portrayed by two sets of real-life sisters, David Leland's actual daughters Abigail and Chloe Leland play Margaret at seven and twelve years old respectively and Emily Lloyd and her actual half-sister Charlotte Ball play Lynda at ages 11 and 16 respectively.
