Sarika has the tiniest role of her career in this movie. She appears in 2 scenes as Parveen's sidekick and has 1 line of dialogue. Manoj Kumar roped her in as a back-up for Parveen who was known to do the vanishing trick. He managed to shoot a song and a death scene with Parveen before she left. Then he found no reason to develop Sarika's role further, considering even stalwarts like Shashi Kapoor and Shatrughan had relatively short roles in this multi-starrer which centered around Dilip, Manoj and Hema.
