It was never revealed if Susan also has the ability to regenerate like The Doctor and the Time Lords. In Series 3 of the revived Doctor Who (2005) it's revealed by the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) that Time Lords got their ability to Regenerate by looking into the Untampered Schism (The natural opening in the space/time continuum). In the book "Doctor Who: A Brief History of Time Lords" by Steve Tribe, it's revealed Susan had looked into the Untampered Schism at the age of 8. This means Susan does have the ability to Regenerate, but Susan has never regenerated and is still Carol Ann Ford.
