Up's musical score has become the tenth musical score (and the third from an animated film) to win the Grammy, Golden Globe, and Academy Award for "Best Original Score". The other previous winners are Butch Cassidy (1969), Lo squalo (1975), Guerre stellari (1977), E.T. - L'extra-terrestre (1982), La mia Africa (1985), La bella e la bestia (1991), Aladdin (1992), Il paziente inglese (1996), and Il Signore degli Anelli - Il ritorno del re (2003).
