According to Brian Levant as a guest on Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast!: Sharon Stone was offered the role of Sharon Stone, later played by Halle Berry. Stone turned it down to appear in Intersection (1994) and it also had scheduling conflicts with The Specialist (1994).
