In one scene during the first 'Sugar Rush' sequence, when Ralph is trying to get his medal back, he ends up covered in syrup and candy, and trapped in a cupcake - very much similar to the end scene in the Disney live-action movie La carica dei 102 - Un nuovo colpo di coda (2000), where Cruella De Vil ends up covered in cake batter and baked into a giant cake.
