The copier machine shown in the open credits is fitted with a delivery guide that would normally be used with a finisher, but the copier is instead equipped only with a receiving tray. That is why the paper doesn't exit properly and pushes other papers to the floor. In a normal office setting the copier wouldn't be configured like this because office personnel don't like picking paper up off the floor.
