Pierre Daniel, who had a brief role in the film sued Marlon Wayans for racial harassment. This was after Wayans posted a side by side photo comparing him to Cleveland Brown from I Griffin (1999). The case was thrown out after the judge pointed out Daniel does in fact look like Cleveland Brown.
