After the movie had been rated ''R'' in the USA by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), according to an article published in the 16th January 1978 issue of show-business trade-paper 'Daily Variety', after edits and cuts to the movie were made, the MPAA downgraded and changed the picture's rating to a "PG" classification.
