The additional vocalist on the musical score is Lisa Gerrard, best known as part of the Australian music duo Dead Can Dance, and for her earlier collaboration with Dune composer Hans Zimmer on Il gladiatore (2000). She recorded her part in a wardrobe closet during the COVID lock down. Zimmer recalls a photo she sent him showing her recording. He enjoyed the irony of "the sound meant to echo through the desert and bounce off mountains was recorded in a Brooklyn clothes closet".
