Volvic French water was the official drink for this sitcom, and characters are often seen drinking from its bottles. Fran Drescher promptly copied this minute detail by having Evian French water be seen in many of The Nanny's characters' hands. Ironically, Fran Fine is often portrayed as "cheap", yet Volvic was France's cheaper alternative to pricier Evian.
