In the first season of Supergirl (2015), Glenn Morshower (Captain) played General Sam Lane, the no-nonsense father of famous comic book character Lois Lane. He was replaced by Dylan Walsh (Detective John Waller) when the character was carried over to the spin-off Superman & Lois (2021).
