This movie is one of a handful of pictures that Burt Reynolds made with his 1970s girlfriend Sally Field. In every movie they made together, Field played Reynolds' girlfriend. Along with this one, they also appeared together in Collo d'acciaio (1978), Una canaglia a tutto gas (1980) and La fine... della fine (1978).
