As a result of this film's critical and financial failure, it became one of the most nominated movies of 2007 for the Golden Raspberry awards (the anti-Oscars that award bad movies), being nominated for a whopping 5 awards, including Worst Picture, Worst Actress for all 4 leading actresses playing the Bratz, Worst Supporting Actor for Jon Voight, Worst Screen Couple for "Any combination of two totally air-headed characters", and Worst Remake or Rip-off ("a rip-off if there ever was one"). In a rare instance, this film won none of the Razzies it was nominated for.
