After the show's producers found out about Antonia Kinlay's pregnancy, they released her from the show, claiming that it would confuse the audience if her character would suddenly have a visible baby bump. Her character was recast with Sophie Colquhoun. Following this, Kinlay filed a lawsuit against the producers for discrimination. She won the case and was awarded a £11,000 payout.
