Stanley Kubrick's widow; christiane and his estate have publicly expressed their anger and disapproval at 'Eyes wide shut' co-screenwriter Frederick Raphael when he released his book "Eyes Wide Open: A Memoir of Stanley Kubrick" immediately after the film's first theatrical release. The book details personal & candid information about Raphael's relationship whilst co-writing the film's screenplay with Kubrick, which Kubrick's estate claimed was written and published without their permission or approval.
