When Mick takes Sue to the shack he tells her that she's the only girl he's ever brought there, but then quickly drapes a rag over a carving/writing on a branch reading "Mick X Mary" to cover it and not give away his little white lie. But it shouldn't have made any difference, as Mick had already admitted to Sue in Mr. Crocodile Dundee (1986) that he had been 'sort-of married' once but that the woman had left him when he'd gone 'walkabout' for almost a year and a half, and it would stand to reason that Mick and his first 'wife' would have spent some time at the shack.
