Aside from David, who is the primary villain of the film, being a prominent returning figure from Prometheus, there are three other appearances in Alien: Covenant from Prometheus' cast of characters. Guy Pearce appears as a younger Peter Weyland in the opening scene with David; while Noomi Rapace appears briefly in the scene where the Covenant's crew examine her message including her singing John Denver as well as an appearance as a mutated corpse in David's 'laboratory'; and Logan Marshall-Green appears in a photograph with Noomi Rapace, reprising technically his role as Dr. Charlie Halloway.
