Legacy Effects built a practically rigged body for Nanaue to rip bloodily in half. "We were asked to make a body that we could mechanically rip in half without the King Shark there." Shane Mahan dished on the details, "It was a very complex sort of set-up. He had to lift him up and then tear him apart. And we had lots of entrails and blood and stuff." Shane says the effective shot was a team effort between practical and visual effects crews. "Our team doing the lifting and pulling, visual effects putting King Shark in there. I'm pretty pleased with that one, too."
