The diner where Lelaina and Troy meet briefly is the same as the one that is now closed and used only for filming, Johnie's Coffee Shop on Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles, and was also used in "Reservoir Dogs" and Coen brothers "The Big Lebowski," in addition to "Malcom X" and others.
