Three of the actors who portrayed detectives investigating Ted Bundy had previously played (or would go on to play) psychotic killers in other films: Frederic Forrest in Un giorno di ordinaria follia (1993); Frederick Coffin in Mother's Day (1980); and M. Emmet Walsh in Blood Simple - Sangue facile (1984).
