Darth Revan from the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003) was about to appear in season three, episode seventeen, "Ghosts of Mortis", but he was later cut from the episode. His appearance would've adapted the character into the official canon, which didn't happen until 2019, when he was mentioned in the book "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary".
