In the pilot episode, "In The Throes of Increasing Wonder", Louis describes the first time he met Lestat. He stated how he wanted to slit Lestat's throat for his (Lestat's) "condescending" and "prejudicial" behavior towards him (Louis). In the season one finale episode, "The Thing Lay Still", Louis does slit Lestat's throat. After the revelation about Lestat and Antoinette's plan to get rid of him and Claudia, somewhat reluctantly, Louis ends up slitting Lestat's throat in revenge.
