Whereas Fran changes outfits about half a dozen times per show, Charles Shaughnessy wore the same olive green safari jacket at least in one scene, in nearly every episode. Because of its neutral tone, it wasn't obvious during the series first run, but is rather hard to miss during syndication re-runs, airing four episodes back-to-back-to-back-to-back. It ought to be noted that---on occasion---Mr. Sheffield also wore that trademark safari-inspired leisure jacket in a deep terracotta color. This one was made of suede whereas the olive green appears to be made of thick cotton canvas.
