(at around 18 mins) The movie's line "A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti." was voted as the number twenty-one movie quote by the American Film Institute (out of one hundred). This line is taken almost verbatim from the book, but in the book, Dr. Hannibal Lecter says a nice Amarone instead of Chianti. Both are types of wine, however, filmmakers decided to change it since they were concerned that American audiences would not understand it, as Amarone wine is an imported item not easily obtainable in the US by the time.
